Define assessment criteria
Established common fields and decision questions so programs researched by different team members could be compared fairly.
NHIA · Research strategy and team leadership
The challenge was not simply finding programs. It was creating a consistent way to judge relevance, prioritise effort and preserve the research for future decisions.
The approach
I coordinated the project as both a research task and a team-delivery problem: define the method first, divide the work clearly and bring the outputs back into one consistent decision structure.
Established common fields and decision questions so programs researched by different team members could be compared fairly.
Allocated research responsibilities, aligned expectations and consolidated findings while maintaining a consistent standard.
Turned scattered eligibility, timing and funding information into a reusable database rather than leaving it across separate notes.
Converted the research into a practical shortlist and a 20+ page advisory report explaining where attention should go and why.
